ARP Pro Series 12-point head-stud kit for 2003-and-earlier Gen III LS engines. Heat-treated 8740 chromoly studs are rated at 200,000 psi.
 
The early-LS layout uses shorter 11mm studs at the end positions and 8mm studs along the upper row. Hardened washers distribute the clamping load, helping the head gasket stay sealed as cylinder pressure rises.
