Keep the factory ball joints and tie-rod ends, but plan the wheel clearance before lowering the truck. Belltech 2000 gives the listed two-wheel-drive Toyota Pickup a 2-inch front drop with a pair of powder-coated ductile-iron spindles.

Fitment

  • 1984-1995 Toyota Pickup, 2WD only, using the original ball-joint and tie-rod interfaces. The current manufacturer page and guide control this range.
  • Confirm the exact wheel and tire combination clears the spindle, lower control arm and surrounding components through steering travel.

Included

  • One left and one right drop spindle, plus the cotter-pin pack listed in the current guide.

Before ordering and installation

  • The current guide requires notching the original brake dust shield. Retain the original steering stops for the new spindles; some wheel choices may require slight lower-control-arm grinding as described in the guide.
  • Check that the rotor turns freely, and check brake-hose, cable, wheel and tire clearance before driving. The wheel is allowed to turn; the brake hose is not supposed to join it.
  • Have the truck aligned immediately after installation. Follow the guide’s hardware specifications and recheck hardware at 10, 100 and 1,000 miles. Belltech recommends installation by a qualified mechanic.
