Start with a hub-to-fender measurement on both sides of the F-150, then confirm the cab, engine and drive type. Belltech 4800 is sold as a pair of front lowering coils with a nominal two-inch drop for the maker’s 1987–1996 F-150 standard- and extended-cab applications. Its current fitment table specifies rear-wheel drive, gasoline engines and the listed trim combinations; diesel applications are excluded.

The supplier identifies a dark-grey powder coat and high-tensile steel construction. These are front springs, even though one supplier field labels a rear lowering rate. No rear spring set, shock absorbers or selectable-height spacer kit is promised here.

Use a qualified installer with the proper spring-control equipment and the vehicle workshop manual. Before the truck leaves the shop, check spring seating, shock travel and tire clearance through steering and suspension movement, then have the front alignment checked. Measure the finished ride height with the truck settled and loaded as it will be driven. Two inches is a nominal change, not a substitute for checking the truck in front of you.
