Firestone 2025 adds adjustable rear load support with separate manual-fill valves. The kit includes the air springs, brackets, frame braces, hardware, air lines, inflation valves, heat shield and thermal sleeves. An onboard compressor is separate.
This exact kit requires drilling and is not compatible with an in-bed hitch. For the proposed 1988–1998 Chevrolet or GMC C1500 2WD application, check frame and suspension clearances and follow W217602025 for bracket placement and heat protection.
The linked 2025 installation guide requires at least 10 psi at all times and limits inflation to 100 psi. The kit provides up to 5,000 lb of helper-spring leveling capacity. That rating does not increase the truck’s factory GVWR or payload limit. Air pressure does not rewrite the door sticker.
