Measure the core before ordering the shiny replacement. This Mishimoto radiator uses a three-row aluminum core for the listed C10 cooling configuration, with an internal transmission cooler and provisions for factory air conditioning.
Fitment
- 1978–1980 Chevrolet C10 configurations with the nominal 19-inch radiator core and listed 292ci/4.8L inline-six or 305ci/5.0L, 350ci/5.7L and 454ci/7.4L V8 gasoline engines.
- Not designed for the factory heavy-duty cooling system. Confirm the original radiator configuration, mounting points and hose connections.

Before ordering and installation
- Measure the existing core and compare the mounting points before removing it. The new core measures 28.3 × 18.9 × 2.5 inches.
- Match the 1.5-inch inlet and 1.6-inch outlet to the hoses. The internal transmission cooler uses female 1/4-inch BSPP connections; confirm the fittings required for your cooler lines.
- Check fan, shroud, hose and wiring clearance during installation. Follow the linked manufacturer radiator guide, bleed the cooling system and check for coolant and transmission-fluid leaks.
- Mishimoto provides a Lifetime Limited Warranty; retain the receipt and consult the manufacturer’s terms.
