Inspect the axle’s original shock mounts before ordering this F-100 rear bar. QA1 52866 works with the specified QA1 rear suspension, and the current guide requires those factory axle shock mounts to be removed for installation.
Fitment
1965-1972 Ford F-100, 2WD, with the corresponding QA1 rear suspension system.
This is not a general replacement for a stock rear suspension. Confirm the QA1 frame-notch and axle mounting arrangement.
Included
Rear sway bar, polyurethane bushings, rear end links and mounting hardware. A front sway bar is not included.
Before ordering and installation
Plan removal of the factory axle shock mounts as required by the current guide. Check the driver-side axle U-bolt against the brake-line junction; the junction may need to be spaced away from the axle.
The supplier record says the bushings are not pre-greased. Lubricate the bushing connections as directed, and adjust the end links at ride height so the bar is parallel with the ground.
Use the current guide’s bracket positions, hardware and torque specifications. QA1’s manual states that installed products are not eligible for return and gives a one-year limited material/workmanship warranty to the original purchaser, subject to its terms.
