Check the crossmember before choosing the bar. QA1 52896 fits the factory front crossmember with factory or QA1 lower control arms. A QA1 tubular crossmember needs the different 52883 bar.
The hollow 4130 chromoly bar measures 1-3/8 inches across with a 3/16-inch wall. Polyurethane bushings, front end links and mounting hardware are listed. Grease fittings are included, and the assembly is not pre-greased; grease it as instructed. Installation can require frame-hole drilling on 1963–1966 trucks, factory bracket or rivet removal, and drilling for stock lower-arm brackets.
