Ready to get the leaf springs out of a '67–'69 Camaro or Firebird?
This double-adjustable four-link includes the axle-location hardware. Check your axle spring pads first. Mono-leaf and multi-leaf pads put the lower bars and shock mounts in different holes. CoilOvers or ShockWaves are a separate choice.
Fitment
1967-1969 Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird using the matched Ridetech rear suspension components.
Manufacturer-listed models: 1967-1969 Chevrolet Camaro; 1967-1969 Pontiac Firebird.
Specifications
Part 11167197; double-adjustable upper/lower bars with R-Joints; satin-black finish; approximately 1-3-inch ride-height drop.
Compatible with mini-tubs. The manual specifies Ridetech CoilOvers/ShockWaves and a Ridetech MuscleBar arrangement.
Included
Cradle and spacing shims, bars/R-Joints, axle and shock mounts, upper axle tabs/braces, shock block-off plates, spacers, setting jigs, Riv-Nut tool/drill bit and hardware.
Before ordering and installation
CoilOvers/ShockWaves and rear MuscleBar are separate. Factory shocks and leaf springs are incompatible; verify the rear sway-bar combination against the manual.
The cradle installation requires frame drilling and Riv-Nuts; upper tabs must be welded to the axle. Check frame-rail spacing, fuel-line and tailpipe clearance.
Retain the specified OE front leaf mounts and axle T-bolts/U-bolts. Match the mono/multi-leaf pad holes; an axle without stock-style pads needs separate 70010122 weld-on lower brackets.
Set axle center, ride height and pinion angle before welding. Do not add lubrication to the self-lubricating R-Joints.
