Doing the front of a '65–'70 B-body?

These one-piece lower arms replace the separate strut-rod setup and give the coil-over or ShockWave a built-in lower mount. Keep the factory lower-arm pivot bolt, and plan the MuscleBar install while you're in there.

Fitment

  • 1965-1970 Chevrolet B-body applications in the manufacturer table below, with Ridetech CoilOvers or ShockWaves and the matching MuscleBar.

  • Manufacturer-listed models: 1965-1970 Chevrolet Bel Air; 1965-1970 Chevrolet Biscayne; 1969-1970 Chevrolet Brookwood; 1966-1970 Chevrolet Caprice; 1969-1970 Chevrolet Estate; 1965-1970 Chevrolet Impala; 1969-1970 Chevrolet Kingswood; 1969-1970 Chevrolet Townsman.

Specifications

  • Part 11282899; satin-black tubular arms with pivot-bearing assemblies and adjustable steering stops.

Included

  • Driver/passenger arms, ball joints, bushings, pivot bearings/housings, shock-bearing spacers, steering-stop and mounting hardware.

Before ordering and installation

  • Factory shocks, springs and sway bar will not fit. CoilOvers/ShockWaves and MuscleBar are separate; the manual recommends installing the bar before the arms.

  • Retain the factory lower-arm pivot bolt. Installation requires a 3/4-inch upper shock hole and three 3/8-inch frame holes per bearing-retainer assembly.

  • Set the steering stops for the actual wheel, tire and suspension combination. Tighten the lower pivot bolt at loaded ride height and check alignment.
