Set the spring seats with the car assembled and carrying its weight. This B-body front pair uses 8-inch, 750-lb/in springs and the matching Ridetech Lower StrongArms. Turning the adjuster on a hanging suspension will not tell you where the car sits.

Before ordering and installation
Enlarge the original upper mounting hole to 3/4 inch and trim the spring-retainer flange on the engine side as the manual directs.
Use the lower spacers and attachment hardware supplied with the separate Lower StrongArms. Confirm the upper mount articulates without excessive clamping.
Follow the exact manual's initial spring-seat procedure, then settle the fully weighted car by jouncing and rolling it. Target the specified 40-60 percent of shock travel at ride height.
Do not lower a spring seat until the spring becomes loose at full extension. Check spring, arm and tire clearance throughout travel, then align the car.
This exact manual begins rebound tuning at 20 clicks softer than full stiff. No fixed drop or universal spring-rate suitability is promised.
