Rebuilding the front of a '67–'70 Mustang or Cougar?
These one-piece lower arms get rid of the strut rods and use a spherical front pivot. Eccentric-eliminator plates hold the alignment. Check your brake calipers first. They're part of the matching Ridetech suspension setup.
Fitment
1967-1970 Ford Mustang and Mercury Cougar with Ridetech upper StrongArms and Ridetech CoilOvers or ShockWaves.
Not compatible with 1967 Kelsey-Hayes four-piston disc-brake calipers.
Manufacturer-listed models: 1967-1970 Ford Mustang; 1967-1970 Mercury Cougar.
Specifications
Part 12102899; satin-black tubular lower-arm pair, pivot-bearing housings and eccentric-eliminator plates.
Included
Driver/passenger arms, ball joints, bushings, bearing studs/pivots, eccentric-eliminator plates, ball-joint nut spacers and mounting hardware.
Before ordering and installation
Upper StrongArms and CoilOvers/ShockWaves are separate. Factory shocks and springs do not fit these arms.
Remove the outer strut-rod bushing sleeve; use the bearing retainer to locate three 3/8-inch frame holes. Check the fit of the frame opening before final assembly.
Match both eccentric plates, use the supplied ball-joint spacer as instructed, lubricate the control-arm bushings and check alignment after installation.
