Check the rear bump-stop mounts before adding support for a loaded bed. Timbren FR250SDE uses progressive Aeon hollow rubber springs at the rear axle of the listed F-150 configuration. This kit provides load support and has no specified lowering drop.

Two hollow rubber helper springs, two steel mounting brackets, two optional rubber spacers and the necessary mounting hardware listed by the supplier.
Before ordering and installation
Remove the original bump stop and bushing, then mount the assembled springs and brackets in the existing holes using the specified supplied fasteners. Use the guide's spacer and bolt arrangement to position the springs over the axle.
Keep the OEM peg casting if the axle has the peg arrangement shown in the guide. The rubber spring is designed to contact that peg; cutting it off creates a different installation.
Check brake lines, brake cables and nearby parts for clearance. The rubber springs expand in diameter under load, so an empty-truck clearance check is only the beginning.
The guide gives a general empty-pickup clearance of 1/2 to 1-1/2 inches between the spring and contact point; its OEM peg-contact installation is an explicit exception. Loads and permanently fitted accessories reduce that gap.
Stay within the vehicle manufacturer's axle-weight ratings. These helper springs do not raise the truck's factory payload or weight ratings. The supplied guide describes a limited, nontransferable warranty for the life of the original vehicle, requiring proof of purchase and covering replacement of the failed part; labor and freight are excluded.
