Check the spindle before choosing the caliper color. Wilwood 140-10738-DR combines red six-piston Dynapro 6 calipers, 12.19-inch drilled and slotted rotors, and aluminum hubs for the listed factory disc-spindle applications.
Fitment
Applications include 1970–1978 Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird, plus the specific Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, GMC, Oldsmobile and Pontiac vehicles in Wilwood’s linked compatibility table. Factory 11-inch-rotor disc spindles are required. Aftermarket or drum-brake spindles need a separate fitment check.
Before ordering
Original spindles require machining, drilling and tapping per Wilwood DS-640. Plan that work before taking the car apart.
Flex lines are not included. Factory hoses will not connect to these calipers; Wilwood identifies separate line kit 220-10509.
Some 15-inch wheels may clear. Check the exact wheel against the manufacturer diagram before purchase.
The hub changes track width by -0.28 inch per side. Confirm wheel-to-hub contact and any required shield or spacer.
