Mustang II front end under your street rod?
Not every Mustang II brake kit fits every Mustang II setup. This one is for the original disc spindle with five-lug wheels. Check both first.
Fitment
1974-1978 Ford Mustang II and 1974-1980 Ford Pinto with original disc-brake spindles and the specified five-lug wheel configuration.
Wilwood also lists 1975-1980 Mercury Bobcat. Apply the same original disc-spindle and five-lug checks.
Four-lug wheel compatibility is not provided. Aftermarket/drop-spindle installations need separate confirmation with Wilwood; no universal street-rod fitment is claimed.
Specifications
Part 140-10742-D; black six-piston Dynapro 6 calipers; 12.19 x 0.81-inch drilled/slotted SRP iron rotors with black electro-coat.
Aluminum hubs support 5 x 4.50 or 5 x 4.75 bolt circles with 1/2-20 studs. Published OE hub offset is 0.00 inch.

Caliper and rotor pairs, BP-10 pads, aluminum hub assemblies, rotor adapters, mounting brackets, inner/outer bearing cones, grease seals, spindle washers, dust caps, wheel studs, shims and assembly hardware.
Before ordering and installation
Check the wheel-clearance diagram in DS-644, Figure 2 on page 3, against your actual wheel before ordering. Some 15-inch wheels clear; wheel diameter alone does not prove clearance. Verify clearance and free rotation after assembly.
Match the hub's 5 x 4.50 or 5 x 4.75 bolt circle and 1/2-20 studs to the wheels. Inspect how the wheel seats on the aluminum hub.
Any wheel contact surface that overhangs the hub face requires separate Wilwood 300-11961 spacers. Stamped steel wheels without that overhang should use separate 300-10716 hub shields.
Flex lines are separate; OEM lines do not attach to these calipers. Wilwood lists 220-8307. Check line routing through full steering and suspension travel.
Retain the matching original spindle nuts and bearing-retention parts identified in the manual. Confirm fastener engagement and caliper centering before final assembly.
Use an experienced brake installer and follow the manufacturer bleeding, bedding and test procedure.
