Want drilled rotors up front?
Wilwood 140-10996-D has black Dynalite calipers and 11-inch drilled and slotted iron rotors, with new hubs and hardware. It's for the specific GM01 factory or Ridetech Pin-spindle applications. Check wheel and spindle clearance first.
What is in the box
Two black powder-coated four-piston Forged Dynalite calipers with 1.75-inch pistons, BP-10 pads and 11.00 x .81-inch SRP drilled-and-slotted iron rotors with black electro-coat.
Aluminum hubs with 5 x 4.50 and 5 x 4.75 patterns and 1/2-20 studs, rotor adapters, brackets, bearings, seals, dust caps, shims, .20-inch wheel spacers and the listed bolts/washers.
Flex lines are separate; Wilwood lists 220-7056. Retain the appropriate OE spindle nuts and nut locks, and provide new spindle cotter pins as directed.
Match it to the build
Use the exact factory-disc, factory-drum or Ridetech Pin-spindle row for the year and model. The table includes GM muscle-car applications plus certain Ford, Mercury and Corvette conversions using Ridetech Pin spindles. Those conversion entries do not establish stock-spindle fit.
Before installation
Wilwood states +.19-inch hub offset per side relative to the factory drum arrangement and -.31 inch per side relative to factory discs. Check both brake and fender clearance against the actual starting setup. Some 14-inch wheels may fit; DS-703 requires at least .080-inch wheel/caliper clearance.
Some factory spindles require the upper anchor hole drilled/tapped to DS-703’s dimensions and the lower spindle/steering-arm hole enlarged to .50 inch. That is qualified-machinist work, not a promise of a no-modification installation.
Mounting ahead of the spindle uses the opposite-side caliper bracket. Check the steering arm, bracket alignment, shimming and full fastener/clinchnut engagement before final tightening.
Use the included .20-inch steel spacer where a wheel contact surface overhangs the hub face. The separate 300-10716 hub shield is recommended by the instructions for stamped-steel wheels that do not overhang. Confirm complete wheel seating and adequate stud engagement.
Verify hose length and fittings through full steering and suspension travel, pack and adjust the bearings, then have an experienced brake installer follow the complete bleed, bedding and minimum-test procedures.
