Do you know the axle offset?
This is a red Dynalite rear kit with a parking brake, built for the listed Chevy housing flange and a 2.46-inch offset. Measure before the rear brakes come apart. The axle may not be original.
Fitment
Manufacturer-listed 1959-1964 Chevrolet full-size rear-axle applications and 1957-1962 Corvette, including the exact additional model/year rows below.
Requires the matching original housing flange, bearing arrangement and 2.46-inch axle offset. Swapped or modified axles need separate dimensional confirmation.
Specifications
Part 140-11828-DR; red four-piston Forged Dynalite calipers, BP-10 pads, and 12.19 x 0.81-inch black electro-coated SRP drilled/slotted rotor/hat assemblies.
Parking brake uses the internal shoe mechanism in the bracket assembly. The kit's required axle offset is 2.46 inches.
Included
Two red calipers, two rotor/hat assemblies, left/right parking-brake bracket assemblies, axle shims, BP-10 pads, pad-retaining cotter pins and the listed mounting/shimming hardware.
Before ordering and installation
Match the axle bearing, housing-flange bolt pattern, wheel-stud pattern and 2.46-inch offset using DS-807. The rotor center register is 2.82 inches; the axle flange must be no larger than 6.61 inches with the specified 0.050 x 45-degree chamfer.
Rotor hats are drilled for 1/2-inch studs. The manual recommends upgrading original 7/16-inch studs; larger studs may require qualified machine-shop work. Confirm the actual axle and rotor/hat pattern before ordering.
The OEM bearing retainer needs the DS-807 trimming procedure to clear the shoe-adjuster opening and actuator support. Verify the rotor seats flush and all clinch nuts have full bolt engagement.
Use the wheel template and maintain DS-807's minimum 0.080-inch wheel-to-caliper clearance. Some 15-inch wheels clear; diameter alone is insufficient.
Hydraulic lines/fittings, parking-brake cables, cable hardware and adapters/clevises are not included. Wilwood lists separate 330-11985 for Corvette and 330-11986 for Impala; match the actual car.
Route parking-brake cables with the manual's 6-8-inch minimum recommended bend radius, restrain the sheaths and pre-stretch/re-adjust them. Adjust the internal shoes and confirm brake balance, bleeding, bedding and test procedures before road use.
